I started GritGPC to create more of an impact in doing what I love to do. While I still work full time as a physical therapist, my true passion comes in helping people to achieve what they thought they couldn’t. Whether that thought is being able to get up from the ground without help or a 400-pound squat, both make me equally happy to see come to life.
GPC stands for general physical conditioning and is a riff on GPP, which stands for general physical preparation. GPP originated from Russian training texts and was an integral part of any sport program. They would program all athletes to incorporate GPP to create the foundation needed to support their sport specific goals. My use for GPC is the same, becoming proficient in multiple areas to prepare an athlete for anything life throws your way.

Monthly planning sessions are designed to build good health habits and learn to budget time to take care of yourself and stay active. Weekly check-ins will ensure you stay consistent with your activity levels and continue to work towards your goals. General exercise recommendations can be offered at client request.
Whether training for health, strength, physique, competition, or life; we will create a unique program that considers all the factors that make you, you. Personalized programming includes access to messaging through true coach, weekly email check ins, monthly video check ins, and video review services to ensure proper form when completing exercises. Truecoach is a free for clients that keeps detailed records of exercise history and completion. With Truecoach, you can quickly log your workouts, macros and calories, view demonstration videos, and direct message me right from the app. App is available on iPhone and Android.
Pick a movement and receive video feedback on exercise faults, proper form, and corrective exercises to improve performance and safety. Using the video app, Onform, you will be able to send exercise recordings and get back an edited video with voiceover and on-screen cues to help you understand what went wrong, or right. Corrective exercises will be designed to improve flexibility, stability, or control depending on what is discovered in each video review.
